Season Opening Soccer Match Against New Mexico Canceled

Texas Tech's scheduled season opener for Friday evening against New Mexico has been canceled. The Red Raiders will now open the 2014 season at 7 p.m. Sunday evening against Oral Roberts.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Athletics Department officials were notified Tuesday afternoon that New Mexico would not be traveling to Lubbock on Friday for the scheduled season opening soccer match against the Red Raiders.
The Red Raiders will instead open the 2014 season Sunday evening with a 7 p.m. kickoff against Oral Roberts at the John Walker Soccer Complex.
