1,000 Additional Seats Available For Students On Saturday

Texas Tech will be allocating 1,000 of its remaining 1,500 tickets for Saturday's game against Arkansas for the student body.

Texas Tech will be allocating 1,000 of its remaining 1,500 tickets for Saturday's game against Arkansas for the student body.
Texas Tech students have been turning out in record numbers, including two weeks ago for the home opener against Central Arkansas. A total of 15,142 Tech students attended the game, marking the second largest student attendance in school history.
"We have the best student body in the country," Texas Tech Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury said. "We need you there early, be loud and stay late."
With the additional seats on Saturday, Texas Tech will be able to accommodate just over 14,000 students for the first match-up between the Red Raiders and Razorbacks since 1991.
Tech students are urged to arrive early and only occupy one seat as seat saving will not be permitted in order to accommodate what is expected to be another capacity crowd. The student gate (Gate 6, southeast corner) will open at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The remaining 500 seats are located on the west side of the stadium and are available for purchase online at texastech.com or by calling the athletics ticket office at (806) 742-TECH.
