Beckie was honored by the website, TopDrawerSoccer.com, on its Team of the Week while Hinkle was named to the CollegeSoccer360.com Honor Roll. It is the first time a Red Raider has been honored by either publication this season.
Beckie scored the game-winning goal in each of Tech's two victories last weekend, heading in an Alli Murphy corner kick with 32 seconds remain in double overtime against Cal on Friday before connecting on the first of two second-half goals Sunday against Abilene Christian.
Her goal against Cal snapped the Tech career record for game-winners as Beckie now has 13 in just over two seasons. She also tied Kristi Patterson (1994-96) for second all-time for career goals at Tech after scoring against Abilene Christian which was the 30th of her tenure.
Hinkle, meanwhile, was instrumental in Tech's pair of shutouts last weekend as she helped limit Cal to just four shots on goal and four corner kicks. Abilene Christian failed to attempt a single shot on goal or a corner kick in its 2-0 loss to the Red Raiders.
Tech returns to the road this weekend for the Oklahoma State Invitational where the Red Raiders will face Tulsa at 5 p.m. Friday and Memphis in a 1 p.m. kickoff on Sunday. Both matches will be played at Cowgirl Soccer Complex in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
