LUBBOCK, Texas - The No. 29 Texas Tech open the 2015 home season slightly different than expected, as the Lady Raiders match with Wyoming has been moved.
Originally slated for the McLeod Tennis Center, Texas Tech officials have moved the match to the Lubbock Country Club, which is expected to begin with doubles at 6 p.m.
Texas Tech is 1-1 on the season and features senior Kenna Kilgo and sophomore Lynn Kiro. The Lady Raiders also include freshmen Sarah Dvorak, Gabriela Talaba, Hortense Boscher, Sabrina Federici and Katelyn Jackson in the lineup.
Wyoming is 2-0 after road wins over Oral Roberts, 7-0, and Northern Colorado, 5-2. Look for Magdalena Stencel and Dorottya Jonas to lead the way for the Cowgirls.
Both Texas Tech and Wyoming will face No. 28 Auburn (3-1) on Saturday in Lubbock. Like Friday, the matches are slated for the Lubbock Country Club. Texas Tech will face the Tigers at 11 a.m. and Wyoming faces Auburn at 5 p.m.
