The Red Raiders (5-5; 2-5), who are looking to become bowl eligible for the 23rd time in the past 25 seasons, host Kansas State on Saturday in what will be Senior Day at Jones AT&T Stadium.
Texas Tech will honor its senior class prior to facing the Wildcats in what will be the Red Raiders' second-to-last game of the regular season. The Red Raiders enter the contest with an 8-7 all-time advantage over Kansas State, including a 6-3 mark in games played in Lubbock.
Texas Tech fans will have the opportunity to salute several standout members of the 2015 class, including running back DeAndre Washington, wide receiver Jakeem Grant, offensive linemen Le'Raven Clark, Alfredo Morales and Jared Kaster as well as defensive lineman Branden Jackson, linebackers Pete Robertson and Micah Awe and defensive back J.J. Gaines and kicking specialist Taylor Symmank.
"We'll pretty much make the whole week about those guys and try to send them out on the right note," Kingsbury said of his senior class. "It's a good group, bunch of big names that have played here a long time and made a bunch of plays around here. We'd love to send them out the right way."
Kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday afternoon inside Jones AT&T Stadium. The game will be televised nationally by FOX Sports 1.
