Texas Tech Announces Spring Soccer Schedule

Texas Tech head coach Tom Stone returns 20 letterwinners, including eight starters, this spring from his 2014 squad that totaled 16 wins and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the first time in program history.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head coach Tom Stone announced the program's spring schedule on Tuesday which features three home matches at the John Walker Soccer Complex.
Coming off their third-straight NCAA Championship appearance, the Red Raiders open the spring on Feb. 21 with a 1 p.m. kickoff against Abilene Christian. Tech defeated the Wildcats, 2-0, this past season.
Tech will also host West Texas A&M on March 6 and New Mexico on April 18. The Red Raiders will make one road trip during the spring as well, facing Big 12 rival Baylor on April 11 at the Toyota Soccer Center in Dallas.
Stone returns 20 letterwinners, including eight starters, this spring from his 2014 club that finished 16-4-2 overall and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Championship for the first time in program history.
Tech will add another 13 student-athletes to its roster next fall as part of the 2015 signing class that was announced last week.

Feb. 21 - Abilene Christian (1 p.m.)
March 6 - West Texas A&M (5 p.m.)
April 11 - vs. Baylor (TBA at Toyota Soccer Center in Dallas)
