Spears to Co-Host FSN Special Friday Night

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech women's basketball guard, Minta Spears, will co-host the upcoming episode of BIG 12 SHOWCASE WOMEN'S SPORTS SPECIAL. The episode airs Friday, March 13 at 5:00 pm and replays Sunday, March 15 at 9:00 pm on FOX Sports Southwest.
Additionally, the 30-minute special can be seen on FOX College Sports and other FOX Sports regional sports networks across the country. (Check local listings for dates/times.)
Spears co-hosts from the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, while University of Texas track & field standout Kaitlin Petrillose co-hosts from the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championship at Iowa State.
Since 2007, producer Keith Fletcher has integrated student-athletes, with an interest in broadcasting, into the show in a host role. What began as an idea to give the show a fresh look has created an avenue for aspiring broadcasters to shine on the national stage.
