Texas Tech Ranked 10th in the Nation

Texas Tech is ranked nationally for the 24th consecutive week with its highest ranking at 10th by NCBWA.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech received a No. 10 national ranking this week from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association, along with four other top-15 rankings from national publications.
The Red Raiders (14-5) are coming off a 4-1 record last week with a midweek series sweep at home over New Mexico State and winning a three-game series at No. 28 San Diego State while closing out the series with a dominating 11-0 victory and a series-clinching 6-3 win on Sunday in San Diego.
Tech also received national rankings from Baseball America (No. 12), Collegiate Baseball (No. 13), Perfect Game (No. 14), USA Today Coaches' (No. 15) and D1Baseball.com (No. 23).
Tech's biggest jump in the rankings came four spots by Perfect Game, three positions up in the rankings by NCBWA and jumping two spots in both Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball's rankings. Tech moved up one spot in both the USA Today Coaches' poll and the D1Baseball.com rankings.
Dating back to last season, Tech has been ranked nationally 24 consecutive weeks while its highest ranking this season came at No. 5 (Baseball America - 4 straight weeks).
