Lady Raiders Host Two Matches On Saturday

Freshman Sarah Dvorak will lead Texas Tech against No. 22 Wichita State and Louisiana Tech on Saturday in a doubleheader.

LUBBOCK, Texas - No. 19 Texas Tech returns to action on Saturday, as the Lady Raiders host No. 22 Wichita State and Louisiana Tech in a doubleheader at the McLeod Tennis Center.
The Lady Raiders will face Wichita State (12-2) at 11 a.m., followed by Louisiana Tech (1-6) at 5 p.m.
Texas Tech returns to the court after a runner-up finish to No. 8 Alabama at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic.
These two matches are the last two non-conference matches on the schedule before Texas Tech begin Big 12 Conference play next week in Kansas.
Texas Tech is paced by senior Kenna Kilgo, sophomore Lynn Kiro and freshman Sarah Dvorak at the top of the lineup. Kiro is ranked No. 50, while Dvorak is ranked No. 65.
The bottom of the order is anchored by freshmen Gabriela Talaba, Sabrina Federici and Katelyn Jackson.
Federici has won 11 straight matches and is 16-2 on the season, while Talaba has won six straight and is 7-2 this spring.
Dvorak leads the team with 18 wins this season, while Jackson has recorded 15 victories and Kiro has notched 14.
The matches are free and open to the public.
