Texas Tech Receives No. 13 National Ranking

Texas Tech is ranked among the top-20 teams in the country in 5-of-6 major national rankings.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech received a No. 13 national ranking this week from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association, along with five other top-25 rankings.
The Red Raiders (10-4) are coming off a 1-3 record last week with a 16-inning victory over Abilene Christian at home and dropping three games, including two one-run contests, at this week's No. 12 team in the country, Cal State Fullerton.
Tech also received national rankings from Baseball America (No. 14), Collegiate Baseball (No. 15), USA Today Coaches' (No. 16), Perfect Game (No. 18) and D1Baseball.com (No. 24).
Dating back to last season, Tech has been ranked nationally 23 consecutive weeks while its highest ranking this season came at No. 5 (Baseball America - 4 straight weeks).
