LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech will close its spring slate Saturday morning when the Red Raiders host New Mexico in an 11 a.m. kickoff at the John Walker Soccer Complex.
The Red Raiders enter the match with a 2-0 record already this spring after wins over both West Texas A&M and Abilene Christian. This will be Tech's first exhibition match since defeating West Texas A&M on April 5.
The Lobos, meanwhile, are 2-2 in exhibition matches following losses to both Arizona State and BYU to open the spring. New Mexico bounced back with wins over Denver and Fort Lewis within the past two weeks.
Tech has not faced New Mexico in the regular season since opening the 2013 season with a 1-0 shutout victory in Albuquerque. The Red Raiders are 3-4-1 all-time against the Lobos, including a 1-1 mark in matches played in Lubbock.
All spring matches at the John Walker Soccer Complex are open to the public with no admission charge.
