Tech receives a national ranking for the 27th consecutive week - dating back to last season.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech (19-13) is ranked 23rd in the country according to this week's National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association top-30 poll, the organization announced this afternoon.
Tech knocked off No. 2 TCU last week for its lone win during the Big 12 weekend series. It marked Tech's third win over a ranked opponent this season - following a pair of wins and a series victory over No. 28 San Diego State on the road earlier this season.
Dating back to last season, Tech has been ranked nationally 27 consecutive weeks while its highest ranking this season came at No. 5 (Baseball America - 4 straight weeks).
Tech is on the road this week for a midweek contest with Oral Roberts (April 7, 2 p.m.) before hosting Baylor for a three-game series at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park in Lubbock, April 10-12.
