LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech (29-20) received a No. 29 national ranking in this week's National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association top-30 poll, the organization announced this afternoon.
Tech was idle this past week while the Red Raiders finished spring semester final exams. The Red Raiders are coming off a Big 12 road series win at Texas - which marked Tech's third weekend road series win of the season (at San Diego State, at K-State, at Texas).
Dating back to last season, Tech has been ranked nationally 32 consecutive weeks while its highest ranking this season came at No. 5 (Baseball America - 4 straight weeks).
