Jace Amaro (TE) -- New York Jets
Week 2 Matchup: New York 20, Indianapolis 7
Amaro will miss the entire 2015 season after being place on injured reserve following shoulder surgery. Amaro, who was injured in the preseason opener at Detroit, finished his 2014 rookie season tied for second on the Jets with 38 catches for 345 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Amaro played three seasons at Texas Tech (2011-13) and was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Jets.

Danny Amendola (WR) -- New England Patriots
Week 2 Matchup: New England 40, Buffalo 32
Amendola hauled in a 29-yard reception in New England's win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Amendola, who is in his fourth season with the Patriots, also rushed for 3 yards. Amendola has made 280 catches during his seven seasons in the NFL, where he has totaled 2,612 yards and 10 touchdowns. Amendola played four seasons at Texas Tech (2004-07) before being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2008 by the Dallas Cowboys.
Michael Crabtree (WR) -- Oakland Raiders
Week 2 Matchup: Oakland 37, Baltimore 33
Crabtree had a breakout performance on Sunday, in his second career game as a member of the Oakland Raiders. Crabtree hauled in nine passes and collected 111 yards, along with a 29-yard go-ahead touchdown late in the third quarter. It was Crabtree's 11th-career 100-yard performance, and first since 2013. Crabtree has now caught 361 passes for 4,475 yards and 27 touchdowns during his NFL career. Crabtree played two seasons at Texas Tech (2007-08) before the 49ers selected him with the 10th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Cody Davis (DB) -- St. Louis Rams
Week 2 Matchup: Washington 24, St. Louis 10
Davis made one tackle in an appearance Sunday night against the Washington Redskins. Davis previously made four tackles during the preseason which was capped by a 24-yard interception return for a touchdown in the finale against Kansas City. Davis was a four-year letterman with the Red Raiders (2009-12) and then signed as an undrafted free agent with the Rams in 2013.

Bradley Marquez (WR) -- St. Louis Rams
Week 2 Matchup: Washington 24, St. Louis 10
Marquez saw more time on special teams in Sunday's loss to the Redskins, after his crucial onside kick recovery a week ago. Marquez, a reserve wide receiver for the Rams who also plays a significant role on special teams, previously caught eight passes for 74 yards during the preseason to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. He played four seasons at Texas Tech (2010-14) before the Rams signed him as an undrafted free agent this past spring.
Manuel Ramirez (OL) -- Detroit Lions
Week 2 Matchup: Minnesota 26, Detroit 16
Ramirez made his 38th-consecutive start Sunday as the Lions lost to the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions had a total of 323 offensive yards (285 passing, 38 rushing). Detroit will play the Denver Broncos this Sunday. Ramirez played four seasons at Texas Tech (2003-06) before being selected in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
Louis Vasquez (OL) -- Denver Broncos
Week 2 Matchup: Denver 31, Kansas City 24
Vasquez was in the starting lineup for the 55th-consecutive week on Sunday, the 49th of which with the Broncos. Denver had a total of 299 yards, 69 of those being rushing yards. Vasquez will matchup against former Red Raider teammate Manuel Ramirez this weekend, as the Broncos take on the Lions. Vasquez played four seasons at Texas Tech (2005-08) before being selected in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.
LaAdrian Waddle (OL) -- Detroit Lions
Week 2 Matchup: Minnesota 26, Detroit 16
Waddle was inactive against the Minnesota Vikings due to precautionary measures after knee surgery in January. Detroit will face off with the Denver Broncos at home this Sunday. Waddle, who is expected to return to the offensive line in the upcoming weeks, played four seasons at Tech (2009-12) before being signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent.
