Red Raiders and Sooners will have a 7 p.m. kickoff on Oct. 22 inside Jones AT&T Stadium
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech will host Oklahoma in front a nationally-televised audience on Oct. 22 as the Big 12 Conference announced Monday that the game will kick off at 7 p.m. inside Jones AT&T Stadium. FOX will carry the game nationally.
Â
The Oklahoma kickoff will mark the eighth time over a nine-game stretch dating back to the 2015 season where the Red Raiders have had a 6 p.m. or later start. This weekend's West Virginia game is the lone exception as it will be an 11 a.m. kickoff on FOX Sports 1.
Â
The Red Raiders (3-2; 1-1) will be looking for their first win over Oklahoma (3-2; 2-0) since the 2011 season. Tech enters the game having won three of the past five games against the Sooners inside Jones AT&T Stadium.
Â
Tickets for both the Oklahoma and West Virginia games are still available and can be purchased online or by contacting the Texas Tech Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH.
Â
All of Texas Tech's game this season can also be heard on the Texas Tech Sports Network with Brian Jensen calling the action alongside analyst John Harris, sideline reporter Chris Level and engineer Steve Pitts.
