LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech will play its final home game of the 2016 season in front of a sellout crowd on Nov. 5 when the Red Raiders welcome in-state rival Texas to Jones AT&T Stadium.
The sellout is the second for Texas Tech this season as a capacity crowd previously watched the Red Raiders host Oklahoma last weekend. It will be the 14th time in school history and the fourth game already this season where Tech has played in front of at least 60,000 fans at home.
Kickoff against Texas is slated for 11 a.m. with television coverage provided nationally on FOX Sports 1. The game can also be heard via the Texas Tech Sports Network.
The Red Raiders will first face TCU this Saturday as kickoff for that game is slated for 2:30 p.m. at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth. Television coverage will be provided on ESPN2.
