Texas Tech Athletics Launches New Tab Experience
November 02, 2016 | General
Texas Tech Athletics and Brand Thunder, LLC have partnered to deliver a unique and powerful browsing solution to Red Raider fans through the launch of a browser extension that lets fans engage with Red Raiders' content on every new tab that they open in their web browser. In addition to reaping the rewards of convenient information and links, the new tab page includes a search box, providing fans with a clean and efficient browsing experience.
Â
This new tab solution is designed to conveniently promote popular links to official Texas Tech Athletics content. Whether you are searching for tickets, video, or event information, fans will be on top of it all. This page will continually evolve and stay current with the demand, always fresh and ahead of the game.
Â
Today, fans open a new tab in their web browser roughly 200 times a month. This New Tab Experience caters to that behavior by letting fans stay up on all things Red Raider when taking pit stops between their favorite sites.Â
Â
Texas Tech Athletics is one of the first NCAA teams to offer a customized new tab solution, taking advantage of the growing browser extension trend popularized by the Chrome Web Store and other app stores.Â
Â
The Texas Tech Athletics New Tab Experience is currently available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer.
