TTU Athletics Hosts Red Raider Recruiting Review in Midland

MIDLAND, Texas - Texas Tech Athletics and the Red Raider Club held its third and final Red Raider Recruiting Review at the Horseshoe Pavilion Monday evening in Midland. Over 300 Red Raider fans attended the yearly event, which provides fans an inside look at Texas Tech Football.
The event came a few hours after Texas Tech announced plans for its fourth consecutive spring football scrimmage to be played at Midland's Grande Communications Stadium on Saturday, April 2. Kickoff for the scrimmage is set for 1 p.m. with gates opening at noon. Admission is free and open to the public.
Head Football Coach Kliff Kingsbury provided an entertaining review of each of his 10 offensive signees. Defensive Coordinator David Gibbs followed with detail on his 14 defensive signees.
Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt discussed his vision for Texas Tech Athletics, Tech's Campaign for Fearless Champions, the Marsha Sharp Leadership Academy and the new Sports Performance Facility.
Hosted by Robert Giovannetti, the event featured several football highlight videos, a dinner and reception.
