Tech Athletics Hosts Red Raider Recruiting Review in Houston

HOUSTON, Texas -Texas Tech Athletics and the Red Raider Club held the first of its three scheduled Red Raider Recruiting Reviews at the JW Marriott Hotel Wednesday evening in Houston. The event came on the evening of National Signing Day as Texas Tech signed 24 football student-athletes earlier in the morning.
Head Football Coach Kliff Kingsbury provided a review of the 2015 season, introduced his new football coaching staff members then discussed each of his 10 offensive signees in detail with corresponding video. Defensive Coordinator David Gibbs followed with detail on Tech's 14 defensive signees with video.
Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt discussed his vision for Texas Tech athletics, Tech's Campaign for Fearless Champions and the new Sports Performance Facility, which will break ground this spring.
Hosted by Robert Giovannetti, the event also featured several football highlight videos, a formal dinner and reception.
On Thursday night, Texas Tech will host its second Red Raider Recruiting Review at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, located at 2201 N. Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75207. The event begins with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.
