All three games of the Baylor series will air on a FOX Sports network this weekend as the two teams will play on FOX Sports Southwest on Friday, FOX College Sports on Saturday and then FOX Sports Southwest-Plus on Sunday.

? This is the seventh-consecutive season Texas Tech has opened Big 12 play on the road and the fourth time during that span where the Red Raiders have begun its league slate at Baylor.

? The Red Raiders are coming off a 6-4 midweek victory over UT Arlington on Tuesday night at Globe Life Park. The victory improved the Red Raiders to 3-1 this season in midweek games as well as in contests played at Major League Ballparks.
? Tyler Neslony connected on his third career grand slam and team-leading fourth home run of the season in Texas Tech's 6-4 win Tuesday night.
? The Baylor series concludes a six-game, 11-day road trip for the Red Raiders as Texas Tech began their trip last weekend at No. 9 California. The Red Raiders lost two games at Cal due to inclement weather.
? Texas Tech currently leads the Big 12 with four victories over ranked opponents. Texas is the only school in the conference to play more than eight games already this year against ranked opponents (12).
? Texas Tech head coach Tim Tadlock enters this weekend needing three wins to tie Dan Spencer for third all-time in program history. Tadlock, who was hired by his alma mater prior to the 2013 season, has recorded 112 wins in three-plus seasons.

Texas Tech enters its 20th season in the Big 12 Conference this Friday when the Red Raiders open a three-game series at Baylor. Tech is 7-11-1 all-time in Big 12 opening series, including a 3-10 mark in road series. This will be the seventh-straight season Tech has opened league action on the road and the fourth time in the past six years where Baylor has hosted the Red Raiders on the first weekend of conference play. Tech previously opened Big 12 play at Baylor in 2014 (1-2), 2012 (0-3), 2011 (2-1) as well as 2003 (1-2), going a combined 4-8 in those games.
