? No. 22 Texas Tech resumes Big 12 Conference play Saturday afternoon when the Red Raiders begin a three-game series against Kansas State inside Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. First pitch for Saturday's doubleheader is slated for 1 p.m. with the second game to follow at 5 p.m. or 45 minutes following the completion of game one.
? Texas Tech is coming off a three-game sweep of Oklahoma last weekend which improved the Red Raiders to 5-1 already this year in Big 12 play. It marks the best start to league action since Tech was 7-1 to open conference play in 1999.
? Texas Tech is looking to win its third-straight Big 12 series this weekend, which would mark the first time since 1999 where the Red Raiders have opened league play with three-consecutive series wins.
