- The Red Raiders are coming off a midweek split series at New Mexico where Texas Tech defeated the Lobos, 7-4, on Tuesday night before falling, 6-5, in extra innings Wednesday afternoon. The loss snapped Tech's 10-game winning streak, its longest since late in the 2002 season.
