Fall Camp Report: Day 11
August 18, 2016 | Football
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech wrapped up day 11 of fall camp practice on Thursday evening at the Football Training Facility.
It was the second-to-last practice before Saturday's intrasquad scrimmage.
The Red Raiders went through a variety of individual position drills and 11-on-11 team periods, as well as some work on special teams.
Earlier in the day, the Red Raiders participated in the annual Kickoff Luncheon, as Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury and select players participated in a Q&A in front of a large gathering of Texas Tech fans at the Lubbock Civic Center.
Also, Tech announced today that former great Zach Thomas will become the fifth member of the illustrious Ring of Honor.
The Red Raiders will host 13 more practices leading into their Sept. 3 season opener against Stephen F. Austin.
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. with television coverage provided by FOX Sports Net.
Congrats to Zach Thomas, the newest member of the #TexasTech Ring of Honor.
