Anthony Lynn - Head Coach, Los Angeles Chargers
Week 6Â Matchup: Los Angeles 17, Oakland 16
Lynn achieved his second win as a head coach in the NFL following a 17-16 victory for the Chargers in Oakland. Down 14-16 with 4:09 to play, the Chargers drove down the field and kicked a 39-yard field goal as time expired to defeat their divisional rival in dramatic fashion  ... Lynn was a Red Raider running back from 1988-1991, and was an All-SWC selection in 1990 … He was also a member of the back-to-back Super Bowl Champion Denver broncos in 1997 & 1998.Â
Danny Amendola - Wide Receiver, New England Patriots
Week 6 Matchup: New England 24, New York Jets 17
Amendola continues to make his presence felt on the field after racking up 40 yards on just three catches and 20 punt return yards in Sunday's 24-17 win for the Patriots in New York ... Amendola has caught 391 passes for 3,757 yards and 18 touchdowns over his NFL career ... On top of that, he has hauled in four career postseason touchdowns, including scores in both Super Bowl XLIX and Super Bowl LI … Amendola was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2008.
Le'Raven Clark - Offensive Lineman, Indianapolis Colts
Week 6 Matchup: Tennessee 36, Indianapolis 22
Clark earned his first start of 2017 in a 36-22 loss to the Titans on Monday night. He played each of the Colts' 58 offensive snaps, as well as five plays on special teams. Clark's start was the fourth of his young NFL career ... Clark was the first of three Red Raiders to hear their names called in the 2016 NFL draft, going at No. 82 overall … Clark started all 51 games of his Red Raider career, and his senior year he was named a CBS Sports second team All-American ... He was the third-round pick of the Colts in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Michael Crabtree -Â Wide Receiver, Oakland Raiders
Week 6Â Matchup: Los Angeles 17, Oakland 16
Crabtree continues to have a strong season after catching a team-high six passes for 52 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He is currently tied for seventh in the NFL with five touchdowns on the season. He has 546 receptions for 6,556 yards and 48 regular-season touchdowns in his professional career … Crabtree played two seasons at Texas Tech (2007-08), where he became the first receiver in collegiate history to win the Biletnikoff Award twice, before the 49ers selected him with the 10th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Cody Davis -Â Defensive Back, Los Angeles Rams
Week 6 Matchup: Los Angeles 27, Jacksonville 17
Davis earned his second start of the 2017 season in Sunday's 27-17 victory over the Jaguars. Davis compiled two assisted tackles in 49 defensive snaps. Davis' start on Sunday was the fifth defensive start of his career ... Davis was a four-year letterman with the Red Raiders (2009-12) and then signed as an undrafted free agent with the Rams in 2013.
Jakeem Grant -Â Wide Receiver, Miami Dolphins
Week 6 Matchup: Miami 20, Atlanta 17
Miami recorded its second-straight win with a 20-17 victory over the defending NFC champions Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Grant caught the only pass he was targeted on for four yards. Grant also had one punt return that gained eight yards ... Grant was Miami's sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft after a senior year at Tech in which he averaged 181 all-purpose yards per game which ranked fourth nationally. He also ranked fourth nationally with 1,017 kickoff return yards and fifth with two kickoff return touchdowns … He remains Texas Tech's career leader in receiving yards after totaling 3,289 over his four-year career … CBS Sports tabbed him as a second team All-American his senior year.
Kerry Hyder, Jr. - Defensive Line, Detroit Lions
Week 6 Matchup: New Orleans 52, Detroit 38
After a breakout performance in 2016, where he led the Lions in sacks, Hyder suffered a torn Achilles and will miss the 2017 season. Hyder joined the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2014 after a Red Raider career which included a litany of All-Big 12 honors in 2013 and 2014.
Branden Jackson - Defensive Line, Seattle Seahawks
Week 6 Matchup: Bye
Jackson, along with the rest of the Seahawks, had the week off following a 16-10 win over the Rams in Week 5. Jackson is coming off an impressive showing in his first game since being signed off the Seattle practice squad in which he recorded a pair of tackles ... Jackson was a four-year starter as a Red Raider, collecting 11 sacks during his tenure in Lubbock ... Jackson was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Raiders in 2016.
Patrick Mahomes II - Quarterback, Kansas City Chiefs
Week 6 Matchup: Pittsburgh 19, Kansas City 13
The 10th overall pick of the 2017 draft turned heads during the preseason and earned the No. 2 QB job as a rookie behind Alex Smith. Mahomes was the 10th pick of the 2017 NFL Draft after a 2016 season in which he won the Sammy Baugh Award, led the FBS in total offense and set FBS single-game record for passing yards and total offense. He is the highest drafted quarterback in school history.
Bradley Marquez - Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Rams
Week 6 Matchup: Los Angeles 27, Jacksonville 17
After injuring his knee in a preseason game, Marquez cleared waivers and has been placed on injured reserve by the Rams ... Marquez played four seasons at Texas Tech (2010-14) before the Rams signed him as an undrafted free agent in the spring of 2015.
La'Adrian Waddle - Offensive Lineman, New England Patriots
Week 6 Matchup: New England 24, New York Jets 17
Waddle played six offensive and five special teams snaps in Sunday's 24-17 victory over the Jets. Waddle played four seasons at Tech (2009-12) before being signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent.
DeAndre Washington - Running back, Oakland Raiders
Week 6Â Matchup: Los Angeles 17, Oakland 16
Washington saw limited playing time on Sunday following a week in which he was inactive due to a hamstring injury. Washington caught the only pass in which he was targeted and gained 10 yards on the play. Washington also carried the ball three times for negative-8 yards ... Washington was the first Red Raider running back to register back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons during the 2014-15 campaigns since former Doak Walker Award winner Byron Hanspard in 1995 and 1996 ... He is one of only five players in school history to rush for over 1,000 yards twice in a career.
Davis Webb - Quarterback, New York Giants
Week 6 Matchup: New York Giants 23, Denver 10
Webb currently holds the No. 3 QB on the Giants' depth chart. He did not record a snap in Sunday's win, the first of the season for the Giants ... Webb was the 87th pick (3rd round) of the 2017 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, after a collegiate career that included three years at Texas Tech, two as the starting quarterback. Set a school record with at least one TD pass in each of the first 18 starts of his career.
