Women's Tennis Hits the Road for Kansas Invitational

Texas Tech looks to finish strong in its final fall team tournament.
LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Texas Tech women's tennis team wraps up the team portion of its fall season at the Kansas Invitational on October 27-29 at the Jayhawk Tennis Center in Lawrence, Kansas.
Tech is looking to keep the momentum going after juniors Felicity Maltby and Alex Valenstein along with senior Sarah Dvorak made the Round of 16 at last week's ITA Texas Regionals. Dvorak and Valenstein also made a run to the quarterfinals in the doubles main draw at the ITA event.
This three-day tournament will kick off Friday morning at 9 a.m. CT with singles to follow. The Lady Raiders will face Auburn, Washington, Maryland, and Wichita State as well as Big 12 opponent Kansas.
The Lady Raiders will begin their spring schedule on January 13, 2018 when Texas Tech competes in the Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
