Each week, texastech.com recaps the performances of Red Raiders currently playing in the NFL. This week, Danny Amendola's clutch touchdown led the way, and Branden Jackson signed with the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. NFL Films will feature Wes Welker with their series "A Football Life," on Friday night, at 8 p.m. CT on the NFL Network.
Anthony Lynn - Head Coach, Los Angeles Chargers
Week 4 Matchup: Philadelphia 26, Los Angeles 24
Lynn's Chargers suffered another close setback, falling 26-24 to Philadelphia. Three of L.A.'s four losses have been by three or fewer points ... Lynn was a Red Raider running back from 1988-1991, and was an All-SWC selection in 1990 … He was also a member of the back-to-back Super Bowl Champion Denver broncos in 1997 & 1998.Â
Danny Amendola - Wide Receiver, New England Patriots
Week 4 Matchup: Carolina 33, New England 30
Amendola found the endzone for the second-straight week, hauling in a game-tying touchdown on fourth and goal late in the fourth quarter ... Amendola has caught 380 passes for 3,642 yards and scored 18 touchdowns in his NFL career … On top of that, he has hauled in four career postseason touchdowns, including scores in both Super Bowl XLIX and Super Bowl LI … Amendola was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2008.
Le'Raven Clark - Offensive Lineman, Indianapolis Colts
Week 4 Matchup: Seattle 46, Indianapolis 18
Clark was on the field for two offensive snaps and two special teams snaps in Sunday night's loss to Seattle ... Clark was the first of three Red Raiders to hear their names called in the 2016 NFL draft, going at No. 82 overall … Clark started all 51 games of his Red Raider career, and his senior year he was named a CBS Sports second team All-American ... He was the third-round pick of the Colts in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Michael Crabtree -Â Wide Receiver, Oakland Raiders
Week 4 Matchup: Denver 16, Oakland 10
Crabtree sat out of Sunday's loss with a chest injury ... He has 534 receptions for 6,422 yards and 46 regular-season touchdowns in his professional career … Crabtree played two seasons at Texas Tech (2007-08), where he became the first receiver in collegiate history to win the Biletnikoff Award twice, before the 49ers selected him with the 10th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Cody Davis -Â Defensive Back, Los Angeles Rams
Week 4 Matchup: Los Angeles 35, Dallas 30
Davis got the start at free safety for L.A. in a big 35-30 road win at Dallas. He also recorded a tackle in the win ... Davis was a four-year letterman with the Red Raiders (2009-12) and then signed as an undrafted free agent with the Rams in 2013.
Jakeem Grant -Â Wide Receiver, Miami Dolphins
Week 4 Matchup: New Orleans 20, Miami 0
Miami's offense was held scoreless, but Grant compiled 45 kick return yards in Sunday's loss, in London ... Grant was Miami's sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft after a senior year at Tech in which he averaged 181 all-purpose yards per game which ranked fourth nationally, and ranked fourth nationally with 1,017 kickoff return yards and fifth with two kickoff return touchdowns … CBS Sports tabbed him as a second team All-American.
Kerry Hyder, Jr. - Defensive Line, Detroit Lions
Week 4 Matchup: Detroit 14, Minnesota 7
After a breakout performance in 2016, where he led the Lions in sacks, Hyder suffered a torn Achilles and will miss the 2017 season. Hyder joined the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2014 after a Red Raider career which included a litany of All-Big 12 honors in 2013 and 2014.
Patrick Mahomes II - Quarterback, Kansas City Chiefs
Week 4 Matchup: Kansas City 29, Washington 20
The 10th overall pick of the 2017 draft turned heads during the preseason and earned the No. 2 QB job as a rookie behind Alex Smith, who led the Chiefs to a 29-20 win over the Redskins. KC is now 4-0 ... Mahomes was the 10th pick of the 2017 NFL Draft after a 2016 season in which he won the Sammy Baugh Award, led the FBS in total touchdowns and set FBS single-game record for passing yards and total offense.
Bradley Marquez - Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Rams
Week 4 Matchup: Los Angeles 35, Dallas 30
After injuring his knee in a preseason game, Marquez cleared waivers and has been placed on injured reserve by the Rams ... Marquez played four seasons at Texas Tech (2010-14) before the Rams signed him as an undrafted free agent in the spring of 2015.
La'Adrian Waddle - Offensive Lineman, New England Patriots

Waddle was inactive after picking up his first start of the season a week ago ... Waddle played four seasons at Tech (2009-12) before being signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent.
DeAndre Washington - Running back, Oakland Raiders

In what was the second-straight tough night overall for the Oakland offense, Washington had one carry for four yards ... Washington was the first Red Raider running back to register back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons since former Doak Walker Award winner Byron Hanspard in 1995 and 1996 ... one of five players in school history to rush for over 1,000 yards twice in a career.
Davis Webb - Quarterback, New York Giants
Week 4 Matchup: Tampa Bay 25, New York Giants 23
Webb begins his rookie season as the No. 3 QB on the Giants' depth chart. He did not record a snap in Sunday's loss ... Webb was the 87th pick (3rd round) of the 2017 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, after a collegiate career that included three years at Texas Tech, two as the starting quarterback.
