No. 13 Weekly Ranking Attained by Men's T&F

Two performances at the Tyson Invitational earned top-20 world rankings.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech men's track & field are ranked No. 13 in this week's USTFCCCA (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) computer rankings.
The Tyson Invitational performances wrangled eight top-15 Big 12 ranked marks and two top-20 world rankings.
Coming in at a No. 2 conference ranking in the men's 400-meter race is Kyle Collins' 46.35 run. This time also ranked Collins 16th in the world this year.
Kyle Collins, Andrew Hudson, Vincent Crisp and Steven Champlin notched a new season-best 4x400 relay time of 3:05.49. Currently this mark has a No. 5 world ranking, No. 2 conference ranking and No. 7 NCAA Division I ranking. The time also qualified as a Texas Tech Indoor record, coming in at number five.
Vincent Crisp and C.J. Jones went head-to-head in the 800-meter race finishing 1-2 with times of 1:48.96 and 1:49.09 giving them the three and four conference spots respectively.
Trevin Chambers ran a personal-best 200-meter race in 21.16. This pace earned him a number five conference standing.
A lifetime best 7.89 60-meter hurdle race was achieved by Darien Tennon securing him the No. 3 Big 12 ranking.
Justin Hall pushed out a personal-best jump of 14.94m/49-0.25 in the triple jump that sits him in the No. 10 conference spot.
Next the Red Raiders will head to the Big 12 Championships in Ames, Iowa on February 24th and 25th.
