Texas Tech Wraps Up 2017 Football Recruiting Reviews

LUBBOCK, Texas -- After an extensive recruiting season, the 2017 Red Raider Club football recruiting reviews have officially come to a close.

The recruiting reviews are meet-and-greets for Red Raider Club members that took place in Midland, Houston and Dallas. Fans use this time to ask the coaching staff any questions they have about the upcoming season and incoming recruits.

Following the dinner for fans and coaches, Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt spoke about the Campaign for Fearless Champions including the progress of the new Sports Performance Center and general Texas Tech Athletics updates.

The football staff then discussed each individual recruit, showcasing highlight videos and stories on several signees' path to becoming a Red Raider. In addition, Tech fans also gained some insight into several returning members of the football program, notably senior quarterback Nic Shimonek.

Texas Tech's mid-year signees are already on campus while the remainder of the 2017 class will enroll at the university later this summer. The Red Raiders open spring practices in early March.
