LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Texas Tech football team held its fifth practice of the spring, and first since spring break, on Tuesday.
After stretching, the Red Raiders began practice by matching the first team offense against the first team defense for a series of plays. From there, Tech went into individual position periods before moving onto special teams periods while the offensive line and defensive line continued individual position drills. The defense took part in interception tip drills and tackling drills during the individual position periods.
The Red Raiders went back into a series of special teams' drills before ending practice with another 11-on-11 period, where the defense once again carried the day.
Tech will return to practice Thursday afternoon, the final practice before the Texas Tech Football Spring Series begins Saturday in Midland.
