Marks Made at Horned Frog Invite

27 top-three finishes were recorded at the Horned Frog Invitational.
FORT WORTH, Texas – This afternoon at the Lowdon Track & Field Complex, the Red Raiders posted 14 lifetime bests and 24 personal bests.
The men's 4x100 relay kicked off the running events with their No. 4 all-time run of 39.40. This race was run by Darien Tennon, Andrew Hudson, Trevin Chambers and Divine Oduduru.
This was a Texas Tech debut for Oduduru who also claimed first place in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 20.45 (+4.5w).
The men's long jump brought forth some impressive performances from Charles Brown, Justin Hall and Erin Lopez, who all three had personal-best performances.
Brown won with his 8.30m/27-2.75 (+4.8w) jump, yet also had an 8.25m/27-0.75 (+3.9w) clearance that serves as his new lifetime best.
Hall hit 8.01m/26-3.50 (+3.9w), knocking down his previous record of 7.59m/24-11 from Texas Relays.
The women's horizontal jumps fronts were led by Kaylee Hinton and Viershanie Latham.
Latham dominated the triple jump securing two school records. Latham had a best jump of 13.61m/44-8.00 (+3.0) for a second-place finish. Latham also hit a wind-legal mark of 13.50m/44-3.50.Â
Hinton had a long jump lifetime best mark of 6.27m/20-7.00, beating her previous best mark by over seven inches.This also serves as a No. 9 all-time outdoor record. Â
Zarriea Willis and Trey Culver swept the high jump wins for the second time this season with their 1.81m/5-11.25 and 2.15m/7-0.50 bars, respectively.
A 46.63 400-meter dash was run by C.J. Jones to secure a third-place finish and new personal record. Â
Tiffani Johnson, Marika Brown and Sara Limp all generated new personal-record runs in the women's 100m and 200m dashes. Johnson led in both races with her times of 11.44 and 23.43.
Next weekend the Red Raiders will continue their outdoor season by heading to Waco, Texas, for the Michael Johnson Invitational on April 22.
