Red Raiders wrap up the regular season Thursday

The next meet for Texas Tech will be the Big 12 Outdoor Championships
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team concluded its final regular season meet, the Corky/Crofoot Shootout, Thursday afternoon at the Terry and Linda Fuller Track & Field Complex.

Malachi Snow ran in the 100m for the first time this season, clocking in at 10.46 (1.5) for the win. Alyssa Colbert won the women's competition with a time of 11.13 (-0.6). The women's 800m saw two PBs as Lily Mather placed second (2:07.96) with Taytum Goodman finishing third (2:10.86).
Jonathan Seremes won the men's triple jump going 16.47m (54-0 ½) (-0.3w), No. 8 all-time for Tech. Jackson Bragg took home the pole vault title clearing 5.31m (17-5).
The men's 200m saw a 1-4 finish led by Shaemar Uter with a wind-legal PB time of 20.47 (0.5w). Kimarlie Stewart (20.62), Brian Tinega (20.87) and Johnathan Crawford (21.00) rounded out the rest of the top 4. Collinique Farrington (23.30) and Mekenze Kelley (23.84) went 2-3 for the women.
Trey Wilson III won two events Thursday, the discus and shot put. In the discus he threw 55.08m (180-8) and went 17.91m (56-4 ¾) in the shot put.
Notables
·      Lovina Ewusi won the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.97, her fourth run this season in the 57 second mark
·      Tonie-Ann Forbes won the women's 100m hurdles going 13.11 (-0.3w)

Tech will have the following week off before leaving for Tucson, Ariz., for the Big 12 Outdoor Championships taking place May 14-16.
