Tihana Stojsavljevic transfers to Texas Tech from Maine
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball and Head Coach Candi Whitaker announce the signing of transfer student Tihana Stojsavljevic. Â

"Tihana is an impressive young woman on and off the court. She has great ambition and vision for her education and life after basketball," Whitaker said. "On the court, she is a tremendously skilled player with good speed and length. Her versatility will be useful in creating mismatches."

Stojsavljevic is a 6-2 forward from Zagreb, Croatia. She played her freshman season at the University of Maine and will have to sit out the 2017-18 season due to NCAA transfer rules. Stojsavljevic will have three years of eligibility left, starting with her sophomore season in 2018-19.

During her freshman season in Maine, Stojsavljevic played in 19 games for the Black Bears. She shot .407 from the field and .500 from beyond the arc.

Stojsavljevic is a Zagreb, Croatia, native. She was ranked a three-star recruit by Blue Star Europe coming out of high school. In 2015, she led U18 Croatia to a ninth place finish in the Division A FIBA European Championships. Stojsavljevic averaged 6.8 points and ranked seventh with 1.2 blocks and 19th with 6.3 rebounds.
