Lady Raider Basketball Announces TV Schedule

Texas Tech Women’s Basketball to make 10 TV appearances
LUBBOCK, Texas – Lady Raider Basketball will make 10 TV appearances during the 2017-18 season, including six home games.Â

The Big 12 announced it's 2017-18 TV schedule that includes 24 regular season games played on FOX or ESPN platforms, and three of the Lady Raiders' games will be aired during the conference slate.

Texas Tech's first away game at Baylor (Dec. 31 – 1 p.m.) will be televised on ESPNU. The Lady Raiders' first meeting at TCU on Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. will air on FOX Sports Networks. Texas Tech is set to host Texas on Jan. 20 at 3 p.m. and will broadcast on FOX Sports Networks.

Additionally, the Texas Tech Athletics Department and Red Raider Sports Properties, a division of Learfield Sports, added seven TV appearances to the 2017-18 schedule.

In non-conference play, Tech's matchup with Texas A&M (Nov. 26 – 2 p.m.) will air on Fox Sports Southwest. The Lady Raiders' Big 12/SEC Challenge game against LSU (Nov. 30 – 6 p.m.) will be broadcasted on FOX Sports Southwest Plus.

Tech will have five third-tier Big 12 broadcasts starting with the home game against Oklahoma on Jan. 10, at 6 p.m. The Lady Raiders will appear on TV the following game when they host Iowa State on Jan. 13, at 6 p.m. Both games will air on FOX Sports Southwest Plus. Tech's conference games against West Virginia (Feb. 10 - 2 p.m.) and TCU (Feb. 21 – 6:30 p.m.) will broadcast on FOX Sports Southwest while Tech's Senior Day game vs. Kansas State (Feb. 26 – 6:30 p.m.) will air on FOX Sports Southwest Plus.

All nine Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship matchups are included in the package. This season marks the fifth consecutive year for the tournament to be televised. The two first round contests will air on FOX College Sports. Quarterfinal games will air on FOX Sports Regional Networks while the semifinals and final will make their national appearance on FS1.
