Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury wrapped up the Arizona State game with the media Sunday
LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech officially turned its attention to Houston on Sunday night as head coach Kliff Kingsbury wrapped up the Arizona State win during his weekly session with the local media.
The Red Raiders, coming off a 52-45 victory Saturday night over the Sun Devils, will face a similar 2-0 team in Houston on Saturday morning at TDECU Stadium. The Cougars are coming off a 38-3 victory over cross-town rival Rice on Saturday.
Television coverage for Saturday's game was updated late last night as ESPN announced the game would be carried regionally on ABC with a reverse mirror on ESPN2. Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. CT this Saturday.
Tech returns to Jones AT&T Stadium in just over a week as the Red Raiders open Big 12 play on Sept. 30 against Oklahoma State. Tickets are still on sale for the Oklahoma State game as well as the three other contests during Big 12 play by calling 806-742-TECH.
