LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball team opens 2018 with a conference matchup against Kansas on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. inside the United Supermarkets Arena.

The Lady Raiders (6-7, 0-2 Big 12) look for their first Big 12 win of the season after dropping the first two games against No. 24 Oklahoma State and No. 6 Baylor.

Sophomore Erin DeGrate led the team with 12 points against Baylor. Brittany Brewer followed with 11 points of her own.

Kansas (10-3, 1-1 Big 12) enters the matchup after defeating TCU, 86-77, in Lawrence. Â Christalah Lyons led the Jayhawks with 18 points and six assists.
