The Players' Journal: Spring Break

Woohoo, Cali! Who wouldn't want to be here for spring break?
Although we love playing on our home field, visiting a new place is nice. I can guarantee all of my teammates and I were super excited for this long, eventful trip.
Last weekend was one that we definitely grew from. We not only got redemption on Oregon State, who we took a loss to the day before, but we found out that being completely obnoxious and crazy in the dugout is crucial when striving to play our best game. Trust me, when we are acting absolutely nuts, you better watch out…
Not only two, but three wins in one day? Sounds like a record breaker if you ask me. We knew that we needed to get back to OUR game. We fought strong Sunday to get the outcome we wanted. Everyone contributed in their own way, whether it was playing lights out on the field, finding a way to get on base or cheering until we couldn't anymore. That is why this team is so special; everyone adjusts accordingly and finds a way to get the job done.
Now we will go on to prepare ourselves for this week. We will take on Idaho State, Purdue, and UC Riverside. This sounds like a perfect matchup right before we get into conference.
This journey is just getting started! Stay tuned, there's big things to come with this team.
Guns up!
