Tech to play two matches on the road before returning home next weekend

LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 9/6 Texas Tech Women's Tennis Team travels to California for two matches during Spring Break. Texas Tech opens the weekend at Fresno State on Saturday.

First serve was moved up to 12 p.m. CT due to rain in the forecast.

Texas Tech (8-2) enters the weekend on a three-match winning streak after sweeping Arizona, No. 37 NC State and No. 50 Rice in this last two weekends.

Fresno State (3-8) is on a three-match losing streak after falling to No. 9 UCLA, No. 48 USC and No. 22 Oregon in the last two weeks.

The Lady Raiders will face the University of California on Tuesday, March 13, at 1 p.m. (CT). Cal will face in-state rivals USC and UCLA this weekend before hosting Tech on Tuesday.
