TexasTech.TV takes you behind the scenes to see what the spring is like for TTUVB student-athletes
The Texas Tech volleyball team is hard at work in the classroom, on the court, in the weight room and in the community this spring. TexasTech.TV spent a day with freshman defensive specialist Emerson Solano to show you what a day during the spring semester is like for Texas Tech student-athletes.
Solano, a native of Amarillo, appeared in 29 matches while making five starts as a freshman in 2017. She finished second among Red Raider freshman with 96 sets played and ranked fifth on the team in digs and services aces.
The Red Raiders head into 2018 on the heels of a postseason run to the finals of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship. They are in the midst of their spring season, which includes an event in San Angelo on April 14 and an event in Plano on April 21.Â
