Texas Tech Hosts First Scrimmage of Training Camp

Red Raiders are three weeks from opening the 2018 season versus Ole Miss
Texas Tech hosted its first scrimmage of the 2018 season Saturday afternoon inside Jones AT&T Stadium.

The scrimmage, which went roughly 100 plays, wrapped a successful first week of training camp for the Red Raiders, who will open the season in approximately three weeks against Ole Miss in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff.

The Red Raiders will scrimmage one more time next Saturday before turning their attention to Ole Miss. Kickoff for the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. on Sept. 1 inside NRG Stadium in Houston. Tickets directly behind the Tech bench are still available for as low as $25 through the Texas Tech Ticket Office.

Season tickets are also on sale for as low as $190 a seat and can be purchased online or by calling 806-742-TECH during normal business hours (8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday).
