TV Schedule Announced for Lady Raider Basketball

Texas Tech to make 11 TV appearances this season
LUBBOCK, Texas – Lady Raider Basketball will make 11 TV appearances during the 2018-19 season, including eight home games.

The Big 12 announced its 2018-19 TV schedule that includes 28 regular season games played on FOX Sports networks, and two of the Lady Raiders' games will be aired during the conference slate.

Texas Tech's Big 12 home opener against Baylor (Jan. 6 – 12 p.m.) will be televised along with their road game at West Virginia on Jan. 23 (5 p.m. CT). Both will air on FOX Sports Networks.

Additionally, the Texas Tech Athletics Department and Red Raider Sports Properties, a division of Learfield Sports, added seven TV appearances to the 2018-19 schedule.

In non-conference play, Tech's matchup with Idaho (Nov. 17 – 3 p.m.) will air on Fox Sports Southwest Plus.

The Lady Raiders' games final two non-conference games against Texas Southern (Dec. 22 – 1 p.m.) and Abilene Christian (Dec. 29 – 3 p.m.) will air on FSSW+ and FSSW, respectively.

The Lady Raiders travel to Florida for the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Dec. 2. Game time is set for noon (CT) on the SEC Network.

Additionally, Tech will have five third-tier Big 12 broadcasts starting with the home game against Kansas State on Jan. 19, at 3 p.m. The Lady Raiders will appear on TV when they travel to Baylor on Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. Both games will air on FOX Sports Southwest.

Tech's conference games against Oklahoma State (Feb. 9 – 6:30 p.m.) and Iowa State (Feb. 26 – 6 p.m.) will broadcast on FOX Sports Southwest while the Lady Raiders' game vs. West Virginia (Feb. 13 – 6 p.m.) will air on FOX Sports Southwest Plus.

All nine Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship matchups are included in the package. This season marks the sixth consecutive year for the tournament to be televised. The two first-round contests will air on FOX College Sports. Quarterfinal games will air on FOX Sports Regional Networks while the semifinals and final will make their national appearance on FS1.
