Fans can also visit the two other box office locations located near Gate 1 and 3 of the stadium (northwest and southwest corners).
GAMEDAY TIMELINE
Premium areas and the student gate will open at 9 a.m. Saturday, while the remaining gates to Jones AT&T Stadium are slated to open at 9:30 a.m. for ticket holders. Fans are encouraged to find their seats prior to the Goin' Band from Raiderland's entrance, which is slated to begin at roughly 10:40 a.m.
FAMILY WEEKEND AT JONES AT&T STADIUM
The West Virginia game is part of Family Weekend on the Texas Tech campus as parents of Red Raider students will begin arriving in Lubbock on Friday. A tradition since 1936, Family Weekend is coordinated through the Texas Tech division of Parent and Family Relations.
STUDENTS TO RECEIVE "TORTILLA TOWEL" UPON ENTRY
Texas Tech Athletics will have tortilla towels available to students at the gate 6 entrance (southeast corner) Saturday. In addition, United Supermarkets will provide students with breakfast burritos to prepare students for the early start. The student gate will open at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
Texas Tech will recognize one of the top hitters in school history Saturday as Eric Gutierrez will be honored during the second quarter. Gutierrez, a first team All-American as a senior in 2016, helped lead the Red Raiders to their first two of now three appearances at the College World Series in Omaha. He went on to a three-year professional career in the Miami Marlins organization before returning just a month ago to be the volunteer assistant coach on Tim Tadlock's staff.
GOIN' BAND TO HOST WEDDING CEREMONY AT HALFTIME
The Goin' Band from Raiderland will have a different type of performance at halftime Saturday. In fact, the Goin' Band might not even be the focal point of the show as a wedding ceremony will take place between two alumni members. The Goin' Band will provide music during the ceremony, which will take place at midfield.
CODY TO LEAD THE RED RAIDERS ONTO THE FIELD AGAIN
Texas Tech will have "Cody" once again filling in as the Masked Rider horse Saturday afternoon in place of "Fearless Champion," who is still recovering from an injury. Cody made his debut in the Lamar game after a week of preparation with Masked Rider Lyndi Starr and Dr. Sam Jackson, a professor in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
FANS PERMITTED TO BRING IN ONE UNOPENED BOTTLE OF WATER
Fans will once again be allowed to bring an unopened 20 ounce (or less) bottle of water into any outdoor athletics venue on campus this year. Please note that frozen water will not be allowed through the stadium gates. Empty cuts, opened bottles and other drinking containers other than 20 ounce (or less) bottles will not be permitted as well.
Due to the early kick and lower expected temperatures, Texas Tech will not have refilling stations available this weekend. Fans needing medical attention can visit the EMS locations on the east and west concourses.
VAPING NOT ALLOWED INSIDE JONES AT&T STADIUM
Texas Tech Athletics would like to remind fans that smoking, vaping or the use of e-cigarettes is not allowed inside Jones AT&T Stadium. Fans who wish to smoke or vape must exit the stadium in order to do so.
CATCH THE RED RAIDERS ON THEIR WAY TO WARMUPS
The Red Raiders will continue to utilize the walkway between the Sports Performance Center and Jones AT&T Stadium to access their gameday locker room roughly 85 minutes to kickoff. Coach Kingsbury and the Red Raiders will walk directly through the Sports Performance Center and enter the stadium through the doors directly under the Double T scoreboard. Fans are invited to greet the Red Raiders as they enter the stadium beginning around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
Texas Tech's clear bag policy will remain in effect for all athletic venues during the 2018-19 athletic year. Fans will be able to bring the following style and size bag or package into the venue:
LUBBOCK MUNICIPAL COLISEUM TO BE USED IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
