Brittany Brewer Named Big 12 Co-Player of the Week

Junior leads team with 25 ppg, 11 rpg

IRVING, Texas – Junior forward Brittany Brewer has been named the Big 12 Co-Player of the Week for her big performances in conference play last week.

This is the first weekly honor for the junior from Abilene, Texas.

Brewer had back-to-back double double performances against TCU and Kansas State. In Fort Worth, Brewer posted 27 points and 11 rebounds with a 70.6 shooting average from the field. She recorded 23 points and 11 rebounds against K-State, shooting 64.7 percent from the field.

With the two double doubles, Brewer now has 10 on the season and 13 for her career. She also reached the 20-point mark for the seventh time this season.
