Registration Open for Lady Raider Basketball Education Day

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball program has opened registration for its sixth annual Education Day. Education Day is a mix between the excitement of a Big 12 women's basketball game as well as engaging educational programs involving both age appropriate work books and on-screen videos.

All students eighth grade and younger are invited to join the team on Tuesday, December 17 at noon and watch the Lady Raiders take on Prairie View A&M at United Supermarkets Arena. All participating students, staff, and chaperones will receive free admission to the game.

New this year, students will be permitted to bring their own bagged lunch or purchase food from the fan-friendly pricing concession stands inside the arena.

Texas Tech will provide workbooks as well as other engaging educational items throughout the event so each student will be learning as they are enjoying the game. In-game promotions will all have an educational component featuring different school subjects, such as math, geography, spelling, science, history, and more!
