Tech Closes Fall Season at Thunderbird Invite

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech women's tennis team closes its fall season this weekend at the Thunderbird Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. The tournament, hosted by Arizona State, begins Friday and runs through Sunday.

The Lady Raiders will be one of 11 teams from around the country participating in the event this weekend. Other teams include Washington, Kansas, San Diego, California, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State and Mississippi State. Texas Tech will bring Kennedy Bridgforth, Nell Miller, Isa DiLaura, Lisa Mays and Reagan Collins to the event.

Tech will begin play at the tournament on Friday at 3:30 p.m. CT with doubles against Arizona State and Mississippi State. The Lady Raiders will take on the Sun Devils and the Bulldogs again in singles beginning at 4 p.m. CT

On Saturday, Texas Tech will take on Notre Dame in singles beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT, followed by doubles against Michigan at noon CT.
