Soccer to Host NCAA Selection Show Watch Party

Red Raiders learn where they fit into NCAA postseason play Monday.
LUBBOCK, Texas – No. 13 Texas Tech will learn where its 15-3-2 record will fit into the NCAA Tournament Monday afternoon when the NCAA hosts its annual selection show. The show will be streamed at 3:30 p.m. on NCAA.com. Head coach Tom Stone invites the media and fans to join his Red Raiders at the Texas Tech Club for a watch party beginning at 3 p.m.
Tech's resume for postseason inclusion boasts 15 wins – just two off the national lead – and a won-lost-tied percent of 0.842, which ties them for the 11th-best in the country. Stone's group has two ranked wins and tied a program-record for the most wins in Big 12 play with six.
Selection would mean seven NCAA Tournament appearances in the last eight seasons for the Red Raiders. Tech is hoping to be hosting, too, which would mean its sixth first round home game in those seven appearances.
