Five-part documentary will take fans inside head coach Matt Wells’ first set of spring practices
LUBBOCK, Texas – Red Raider fans will get a glimpse inside the Texas Tech football program like never before this spring through the five-part documentary series Saddle Up that debuts this Monday night on TexasTech.TV.
Â
The behind-the-scenes production will cover all five weeks of practice, showing in-depth interviews from new head coach Matt Wells and his staff during their first spring slate in Lubbock. Cameras will also be present inside various staff meetings as well as the Spike Dykes Team Meeting Room.Â
Â
Each episode of Saddle Up will cover a different week of spring practice, which culminates with the Texas Tech Spring Series Presented by Double Eagle. The Saddle Up title is a reference to the popular Brent Musburger television intro where he declares "when you come to West Texas, folks, you better saddle up. You're in for a wild ride."
Â
The first episode of Saddle Up premiers at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening exclusively on TexasTech.TV and then re-air the following day on Tech's social media channels - @TexasTechFB on Twitter and Texas Tech Football on Facebook. All five episodes will air for free on TexasTech.TV.
Â
TexasTech.TV is the central destination for all of Texas Tech's digital video content on the web and through mobile applications. The majority of on-demand content is provided free of charge, but a subscription is required for the majority of live events such as Red Raider baseball games not aired on FOX Sports or ESPN.
Â
Subscriptions are priced for as low as $9.95 a month or $79.95 a month. Only one subscription is needed for desktop and mobile apps.
