Texas Tech Baseball Announces Schedule Change

Red Raiders shift a date with New Mexico up to this Tuesday at 1 p.m.
LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 10 Texas Tech baseball program announced it has rescheduled its April 24 home game with New Mexico to this Tuesday (March 12). First pitch is set for 1 p.m. at Rip Griffin Park.

Texas Tech and New Mexico have agreed to move Tuesday's game back to its originally scheduled date of April 24 at 2 p.m. due to inclement weather in the area this Tuesday.

The Red Raiders and Lobos were originally scheduled for a two-game midweek series on April 23-24 in Lubbock, but the two teams have mutually agreed to move the April 24 date to this Tuesday. The game slated for April 23 remains unchanged and will start at 6:30 p.m. on FOX Sports Southwest Plus.

Season ticket holders can use their ticket to the April 24 New Mexico game for entry on Tuesday. Single-game purchasers who already have tickets for April 24 can also use those tickets on Tuesday. Fans can contact the Texas Tech Ticket Office at (806) 742-TECH with additional questions.

The Red Raiders open a three-game series with Wichita State tonight at 6:30 p.m., at Rip Griffin Park.
