Wells Announces Big 12 Media Day Attendees

Travis Bruffy, Douglas Coleman III, Terence Steele and Broderick Washington Jr. will represent the Red Raiders in Arlington
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech head coach Matt Wells has tabbed senior offensive lineman Travis Bruffy, senior defensive back Douglas Coleman III, senior linebacker Jordyn Brooks and senior defensive lineman Broderick Washington Jr. to represent the Red Raiders at Big 12 Media Days on July 15.

Wells and his four seniors will be part of the opening day of the event, which will move this year to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the site of the Big 12 Championship game. Big 12 Media Days mark the unofficial start to the season with journalists from across the country descending on the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to cover the league.

The Red Raiders are set to meet with representatives from radio stations across the conference footprint as well as the league's television partners, FOX And ESPN. Wells is slated to meet with the print media for the first time at 11:50 a.m. with live coverage of the press conference provided on FOX Sports Southwest.

The Red Raiders are now less than two months from the start of the 2019 season as Tech welcomes Montana State to Jones AT&T Stadium on Aug. 31. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. on FOX Sports Southwest. Â
