Red Raiders Return to Competition at Mardioe Collegiate

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech men's golf team will return to competition at the Maridoe Collegiate Invitational which will be played from Sunday-Tuesday at the Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas.
The Red Raiders are playing their third of four fall tournaments after taking third at the Colonial Collegiate and competing at the Big 12 Match Play Tournament two weeks ago. Hosted by the University of North Texas, the tournament will consist of 12 teams that includes Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Pepperdine, Coastal Carolina, East Tennessee State and UNT.
The Red Raiders will be represented by Garrett Martin, Baard Skogen, Andy Lopez, Ludvig Aberg and Sandy Scott while Kyle Hogan, Markus Braadlie and Carl Didrik Meen Fosaas are competing as individuals. Martin begins the day for Tech with a 10 a.m. tee time and Meen Fosaas is the final TTU tee time at 1:10 p.m. during Sunday's opening round. The Red Raiders will be playing with Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Texas during the first round.
The Maridoe Golf Club opened in July 2017 and will play out at as a par-72, 7,287-yard course.
