Red Raiders and Owls agree to adjusted start time ahead of three-game set.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Saturday's baseball game between No. 2 Texas Tech and Rice has been changed to a 3 p.m. first pitch at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
The matchup was originally slated for 2 p.m., but the two clubs agreed to shift the start time back an hour to accommodate the Texas Tech men's basketball game against Kansas, set for 1 p.m. on ESPN.
Saturday's game will be available on TexasTech.TV and over the air on the Texas Tech Sports Network with Jamie Lent and Mike Gustafson on the call.
It is the second game in a three-game set with Friday's opener set for a 6:30 p.m. start. The series finale on Sunday features an early start time of 11:30 p.m. with coverage on FOX Sports Southwest Plus.
